Sustainability Integration heat pump
We have integrated an industrial heat pump into the production process for RFC Maasdam. FrieslandCampina is working on a future-proof and more sustainable production network. With the integration of the Olvondo heat pump, another major step has been taken in that direction.
Award-winning heat pump technology
Olvondo is known for their award-winning heat pump technology, which recycles low-temperature waste heat to produce high-quality process heat. The technology can deliver steam at temperatures up to 200o Celsius. Through this integration, FrieslandCampina Maasdam is greatly reducing their direct power consumption and thus further working towards their 'On the way to PlanetProof' label.
Dairy processing
Every year, millions of packs of drinking yoghurt, custard, quark and milk leave the factory, heading for supermarkets throughout the Netherlands. ER processes 100 to 200 million liters of dairy annually.
