Largest Lactoferrin factory
For FrieslandCampina, we automated their entire newly built lactoferrin plant. This project contained the complexity that parts were also commissioned by another - foreign - party. And that parts had to be programmed with the new PCS7 V9 and all associated option packages, such as batch and route control.
Controlling subcontractors
For this reason, Prospact programmed this plant and controlled all subcontractors (9) in linking to the central control system, composed of four redundant CPUs. During the project, our team scaled up so that the entire plant could be delivered on the agreed deadline.
Optimizations
Currently, the plant is running almost fully automated and our engineers are involved in minor optimizations associated with starting up a greenfield plant.
