Future engineers wanted!

Prospact - Avans

At Prospact, we believe that the future of technology starts with people. That is why, together with fellow companies and Avans University of Applied Sciences, we are investing in new technical talent. We have signed a letter of intent to place greater emphasis on industrial automation in education.

This is an important step towards offering young people and working MBO students prospects for a future-proof career in technology.

Associate Degree Engineering

In September 2026, Avans Academy will launch a new variant of the dual Associate Degree Engineering programme. This variant will be specifically focused on industrial automation. This involves combining work and study, with a direct link between theory and practice. Students will learn and apply what they learn directly in the workplace.

Internship available

We offer an internship as part of this programme. Students work alongside us as full-fledged colleagues on industrial automation projects while simultaneously pursuing a higher professional education programme. Our latest intern, Skye, talks about this in his interview about his internship at Prospact. After completing the two-year associate degree programme, students can progress to a bachelor's programme with the opportunity to specialise in areas such as industrial IT, cybersecurity, and digital systems.

Advancing towards an engineering position

This learning pathway is designed to encourage school leavers with vocational qualifications, as well as individuals already in employment who wish to progress to an engineering position, to continue their education. This creates opportunities for development, allowing people to work and study simultaneously.

New training variant

We are one of the companies that actively supports this new training variant. We do this by offering workplaces, sharing knowledge, and guiding students in practice. Industrial automation is a necessity! Smarter working, innovation and productivity require well-trained engineers with up-to-date knowledge of automation.

Together with Avans University of Applied Sciences and other technical companies, we are building a strong, future-proof labour market. Do you know anyone with a technical vocational education? Perhaps a son or daughter, colleague or acquaintance who is interested in automation and would like to continue learning while working? If so, this is a unique opportunity! Please contact us.
