Q3 Quarterly Meeting: Cybersecurity and Plans for Q4

At Prospact, the Process Translators meet every quarter to discuss developments within the organisation, share knowledge and look ahead. The third quarterly meeting of 2026 focused on the Q3 results, plans for Q4 and a special training session on cybersecurity.

Progress on annual plans

As usual, we began the meeting with a review of the past quarter and a look ahead to the final months of the year. The Siemens PCS 7 and AVEVA teams presented their annual plans and demonstrated how progress is being monitored. This ensures that everyone remains fully informed about what the teams are working on and what targets are on the agenda.

Erik also took the floor. He spoke about the ongoing projects relating to IQ Messenger, through which we at Prospact are working on new possibilities for smart communication from industrial systems.

A key part of the meeting was the training session on cyber incidents, delivered by CCRC. Cybersecurity is playing an increasingly important role in industrial automation. That is why it is important not only to have technical knowledge, but also to know how to respond when something actually goes wrong.

During an interactive cyber crisis exercise, our Process Translators were divided into four teams. Each team faced a simulated cyber attack and had to determine how to deal with it. It was an instructive exercise that focused on collaboration, communication and decision-making under pressure.

As well as developments within our teams, attention was also paid to the next generation of Process Translators. Our intern, Silke, presented her internship project to her colleagues. It was a great opportunity for her to share her work and project with the team.

Even outside our own office, the Process Translators continue to develop their knowledge and maintain contacts with technology partners. We therefore discussed which events are on the agenda for the fourth quarter.

From 6 to 8 October, Colin and Erik van de will be attending AVEVA ENABLE EMEA 2026 in Madrid. In addition, on Tuesday 24 November, Mick and Damond will be visiting SPS 2026, the international trade fair for industrial automation.

Both events offer ample opportunity to keep up with new developments, exchange knowledge and strengthen connections within our sector. Here’s to the final months of 2026!
