Martijn: five years Prospact

Prospact - Martijn anniversary

When Martijn Bindels became a Process Translator five years ago, he described his expectations using three key words: ‘content’, ‘team’, and ‘atmosphere’. Recently, he received the traditional portrait drawing to mark his five-year anniversary. To what extent have those expectations been met?

As Team Lead Consultancy, Martijn - like the entire organization - has gone through strong development over the past years.

Developed within the AVEVA pillar

“In recent years, I’ve developed within the AVEVA-pillar. When I started, this discipline was barely present”, says Martijn. “Together with colleagues, I’ve helped build a mature and growing team. The focus was on certifications, knowledge development, and collaboration, which has made AVEVA an important pillar within Prospact.”

Pragmatic, committed and bold

According to Martijn, this development aligns with the broader professionalisation Prospact has been working towards. “Standardisation and quality are central. That way of working towards clients is what sets us apart. Pragmatic, committed, and bold. We’re not afraid to pioneer to find solutions, always with the goal of helping the client move forward.”

Flat structure, short lines and strong connection

This approach may bring additional workload, but it also generates energy, engagement, and visible results, Martijn explains. “Our team has a flat structure, short lines, and a strong sense of connection. You see that in our shared lunches, trips, and team activities. We know each other well and work together in an open and equal environment.”

Continuing to strengthen our qualities

Martijn’s ambitions align closely with those of Prospact. “Over the next five years, I’ll still be here, continuing to strengthen our qualities. Further standardising processes and making more efficient use of the knowledge we’ve built. The goal is to keep growing as a team and to serve our clients even better in their process automation needs.”

The portrait drawing was presented during the last quarterly meeting. “A great moment, because everyone was there.” The caricature – created in duplicate – will get a nice place both at home and at the office. “Looking back, my expectations of working on meaningful content within a close-knit team have absolutely been fulfilled.”
