We enjoyed an afternoon and evening full of surprises!
History
The day began with a unique cruise on the Binnendieze. In a whisper boat, we sailed through tunnels and under streets, right through the heart of the city. Along the way, we were given explanations about the city's history. Many of our colleagues were surprised by the size of the underground system and the atmosphere on the water.
After the boat trip, we went to the Jongens van de Wit city brewery. There, we enjoyed a tasting session with a variety of beers, ranging from white to brown and from fresh to spicy. The beer lovers enjoyed everything! The tasting seamlessly transitioned into dinner: a table full of surprising snacks. Deep-fried, vegetarian, fish and meat dishes, and bread. There was something for everyone. And, above all, there was more than enough!
There was one official moment during the outing: Yannick Luitjens’ five-year anniversary. You can read more about it soon on our website and social media channels.
The outing was enthusiastically received, and this time the organisation was in the hands of Jantine and Vince. Who will it be next time?
