Prospact is making great strides! In 2025 and 2026, we will - in a broad sense - ensure the quality and the solutions that we offer to our customers. In 2025, we will be certified in information security (ISO27001), the quality of our internal processes (ISO9001) and safe working practices (VCA*). This will lay the foundations for us to be able to certify to the IEC62443 standard, parts 2-4, in 2026.
Our consultant Louis Priem gave a presentation during the quarterly meeting on cybersecurity and knowledge sharing.
Certifications
So, this last quarterly meeting was mainly dedicated to these certifications. Why are we doing this? What are we going to do? What does it mean for our work as process translators?
As information security is the least known of the certifications, Louis took us into the world of cybercrime. He made practical links to our daily work and discussed all the changes in detail. Among other things, Louis explained why the mostly large multinational companies that Prospact works for need to take information security seriously. He also showed us how hackers work, how we can unwittingly help them - or consciously thwart them. And what, for example, ransomware will look like in 2025.
Louis: “It was nice to find that the team sees issues around certification as opportunities to do even better. Policies, processes, and procedures can often seem like unnecessary baggage to technicians. But by focusing on making sure these issues are connected to our techs and customer solutions during implementation, there is support to leverage certifications. Together, we can continue to strengthen the foundation under Prospact.”
Over the next few months, we will be putting a lot of work into implementing the above standards in a way that suits us as process translators. Both during the forthcoming quarterly meetings and in separate meetings with the team, important steps will be taken to ensure quality within Prospact!
