Commissioning Engineer

What we expect from you

The commissioning engineer is responsible for independently commissioning complicated control systems and making corrective changes to the installation or control software. The work mainly takes place within the food, feed and dairy industry on site at the customer. During your work, you can always count on support from your colleagues. A healthy interest in the field of software engineering is also desirable, and progression to Software engineer PCS7 is an option.

Primary tasks and responsibilities

  • Independently perform maintenance on control systems;
  • Independent commissioning of installations;
  • Performing programming and testing work;
  • Being able to draw up a script;
  • Attending customer and internal meetings on progress, safety and technical issues;
  • Transparent and clear communication;
  • Reporting to senior engineers and/or project manager.

Secondary tasks and responsibilities

  • Attend team meetings;
  • Positive contribution to good atmosphere within Prospact team.


  • Pragmatic;
  • VCA;
  • MBO diploma in electrical engineering;
  • Experience in industrial environments;
  • Ambition to grow into software engineer.

Personal development

The commissioning engineer must attend related training/education at least once every three years. This training will be coordinated in consultation with the PCS7 technical lead.
